M.Tech. in VLSI and embedded systems M.Tech. in VLSI and embedded systems Applications are invited for admission to M.Tech. programme in VLSI and embedded systems offered at the Model Engineering College, Thrikkakara, Ernakulam, for 2010-11. The duration of the course is four years and the number of seats available is 18. Eligibility: BE or B.Tech. degree in electronics and communication, electronics and instrumentation or electrical and electronics from a recognized university with a minimum of 60 per cent marks and a valid GATE score. For applicants who do not have a valid GATE score, the marks scored in the qualifying examination and the admission test conducted will be considered. Application forms and other details can be downloaded from the website www.mec.ac.in or www.ihrdkerala.org. Duly filled-in application along with a demand draft of Rs.500 drawn in favour of the principal, Model Engineering College, Thrikkakara, Ernakulam, payable at the State Bank of Travancore, Edappally branch, true copies of all the relevant certificates and the GATE score card should be sent to the principal of the college so as to reach the addressee on or before June 10. Those who have appeared for the final semester of their qualifying examination but have a valid GATE score would have to submit their final mark list at the time of interview. The selection is based on GATE score or admission test. The tuition fee is Rs.35,000 per semester (Rs.45,000 per semester for sponsored candidates).
