Born in Indore on September 8, 1929,The "melody queen"  ruling the thousands of hearts with her unique evergreen teen age voice.She was an important instrumental in developing music thunder among the people of India.The singing career for Latha Mageskar started in 1940s with first song in Marathi film Gajaabhaau the song goes like "Mata Ek Sapoot Ki Duniya Badal De Tu ". Their is no turn back from this and she went on to become greatest female singer ever the country produced.Though she was a daughter of a theatre company owner, it was not easy for her to enter into the singing career, her father died with family suffering from economic hardship,the responsiblity to earn bread for the family fell on her. She took this responsbility by going for acting in some small roles in the film.She got a break in singing with a song in Kiti Hasal but bad luck followed her that the song was edited out of the film.

The soft voice lady had a hard courage to withstand the failures and took another attempt in singing but the industry ruled by major singers like Noor Jehan made sure that she is rejected by the Music Directors and producer.But the Never give up attitude in her heart and soul made another attempt , this time she  broke the traditional concept of play-back singing , Her songs in film Majboor (1948), and this is it ,shesung in Mahal (1949), Dulari (1949), Barsaat (1949), and Andaz (1949); The songs become a super hit and Latha Mageskar went on to become the Nightingale of India

Madurai Shanmukhavadivu Subbulakshmi was a born talent ,She had a unique in the galaxy of carnatic music.She started stage performace at the age of 17.Born in the Madurai district of Tamilnadu on september 16 , 1916 popularly known as MS . She become the cultural ambassdor of India.She preformed in many International stages including the UN assembly.Her husband Thiagarajan Sadasivam was instrumental in shapping her to a big carnatic singer. She also acted in some of the tamil movies like "Savitri".Such high value is her preformace as Nehru said " "Who am I , a mere Prime Minister before a Queen, a Queen of Music ".Simple secert of her success in her own words " If one sings with incerity and devotion, such music has the capacity to move the audience to divine experience, irrespective of their religious beliefs, their language and the countries to which they may belong."
