The Kerala Administrative Service (KAS) Exam is the most prestigious state civil service examination conducted by the Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC). Understanding the KAS Exam Pattern & Selection Process
The KAS exam is conducted in three stages:
1. Prelims (Objective Type)

📌 Total Marks: 200 (100 marks each)
📌 Duration: 90 minutes per paper
📌 Negative Marking: 1/3rd for each wrong answer
2. Mains (Descriptive Type)

📌 Duration: 2 hours per paper
3. Interview (Personality Test)
📌 Total Marks: 50
📌 Conducted for candidates who qualify the Mains exam.
📌 Final selection is based on the combined marks of Mains & Interview.
