Examination Overview

  • Name: National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (II), 2025

  • Army (NDA): 208 (incl. 10 for females)

  • Navy (NDA): 42 (incl. 5 for females)

  • Air Force (NDA):

    • Flying: 92 (incl. 2 for females)

    • Ground Duties (Tech): 18 (incl. 2 for females)

    • Ground Duties (Non-Tech): 10 (incl. 2 for females)

  • Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry): 36 (incl. 4 for females)


Eligibility

  • Nationality: Indian, Nepalese, or certain persons of Indian origin

  • Age: Born between 2nd Jan 2007 and 1st Jan 2010 (both dates inclusive)

  • Marital Status: Unmarried

  • Education:

    • Army Wing: 12th pass

    • Air Force/Navy/Naval Academy: 12th pass with Physics & Maths

    • Note: 12th appearing candidates may also apply


Application Fee

  • ₹100/- (exemptions for SC/ST/female candidates & specified categories)

  • Payment Mode: Credit/Debit/UPI/Net Banking only


Selection Process

  1. Written Examination:

    • Mathematics: 300 Marks

    • General Ability Test: 600 Marks

  2. SSB Interview: 900 Marks

  3. Final Selection: Based on written + SSB performance

  4. Air Force candidates: Must pass CPSS (Computerized Pilot Selection System)


Admit Card & Exam Centres

  • Admit Card Release: 1 week before exam

  • Mode of Delivery: Download only; no postal/email delivery

  • Centre Allotment: First-come, first-served basis (limited capacity)


Other Important Notes

  • No corrections allowed post submission of application

  • Aadhaar is recommended for ID verification

  • No mobile phones or electronic devices allowed at the exam centre

  • Medical and physical fitness criteria must be met
